Austin, Texas-based Rallyhood is a community collaboration platform that makes it easy and fun for people to come together and get things done. Founded by Patti Rogers, a design and marketing?entrepreneur, after being inspired by the people that supported her during her fight with breast cancer.?She quickly realized that communities needed a platform to make it easy for them to come together around a purpose, event, or common cause. When she got well, she created Rallyhood.
Rallyhood’s web and mobile app provides the tools for groups to centralize communication, coordination, and sharing in one place, saving time for members and leaders and giving everyone a better shared experience. Started in spring of 2012, Rallyhood is already being used by organizations like Komen Austin, the Girl Scouts of Central Texas, YMCA of Austin as well as numerous schools and sports leagues. Many users have also started Rally-Sites for their own support, social, and fitness groups.
Rallyhood knows that the only way to help groups,?organizations, and individuals is to be?accessible?within their daily lives, which means the technology must be available to them wherever they are. High speed wired and wireless networks makes this possible.
